Physical and Digital COmic bOOKS 

Essentially a  comic book is a book that portrays a story through a series of sequential illustrations. These illustrations are split into panels, which move the narrative forward.  Stories can be told in a single issue more often stories are told in arcs comprised of numerous issues over time.  

It is important to understand that comic books are normally referred to in three forms 1. Physical Comics 2. Graphic Novels 3. Digital comics.
