Digital Comics

Digital comics are electronic comic books. Because the term “digital comics” is an umbrella term, it is important to note that there are two types of “digital comics.”

Digital versions of print titles such as titles from Marvel and DC Darkhorse and Dynamite
Free comics printed on the web called “webcomics.”
Digital comics can be read on any platform compatible device ( iPhone, android, iPad, tablet, kindle, or laptop) Normally the consumer will subscribe to the hosted provider site and receive their comics that way. Some sites like kindle allow you to download your comic book
Digital comics follow the same creative process as physical aside from the final produced product.
In 2014 most publishers (not Marvel or DC) moved to DRM ( Digital Rights Management) Free digital comics. This means that you can read comics in any digital comic book reader however, your comic will not sync to all your devices ( you have to do it manually)
